Opportunity Summary [this is not a traditional salaried job]
The International Marketing VP position will be responsible for the execution of all
marketing, branding and product management initiatives worldwide. The position is the
chief strategist for setting the agenda for current and new entrepreneur business
development, branding leveraging and consolidation; and mapping the innovation roadmap
of IEA’s future. The International Marketing VP will ensure that the cross-functional
international teams execute the marketing strategy through traditional and digital marketing
activities, tradeshows, and public relations. This key position within the International
Entrepreneurs Association structure will have a 6% equity stakeholder position sharing in
global profits. In addition, there are other proprietary opportunities and an NDA will be
required.
Main responsibilities
In addition to Executive Director responsibilities for your licensed state or country, the
position will be responsible for the following:
The International Marketing VP collaborates with CEO, Execute Directors and
Senior global business development team to cultivate a marketing plan and strategic
initiatives to achieve quarterly and annual marketing goals.
Responsible for setting global policies, processes and procedures as they relate to
the marketing and product management function for IEA’s worldwide locations.
Plan and oversee advertising and branding global activities through different
channels and technological tools.
Develop IEA’s brand globally and creates training programs within the organization
teams and entrepreneur customers.
Track and analyze local and international markets, channel trends, opportunities,
products and activities in the marketplace including development of competitive
strategies.
Instill a data-driven, process-oriented, results- based methodology throughout the
global marketing function.
Train and guide staff in evaluation customer requirements, work with product
development to address those requirements within the context of local trades trends.
Direct marketing communication efforts including the development of catalogs and
advertising programs to support approved objectives.
Lead the creative development of regular, program-specific, and event-specific
marketing campaigns across all media, including crafting dynamic data-informed,
customer-centric and insight-based content and messaging that connects with
customers and strengthens their link to IEA.
Evangelize creativity in all its forms and help IEA’s global team deliver creative
output relative to specific stages in the business process and life-cycle marketing
funnels.
Oversee and manage third party brand agencies as needed.
Partner with customers to name new products and features and create naming
conventions and trademark management.
Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values
learning and a commitment to quality and entrepreneurship ‘s principles.
Passion for IEA’s mission and entrepreneurship world.
Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and organization matters
regarding trade information.

Minimum Requirements
Education and experience
Master’s degree in Marketing, business administration or a related field; with a
minimum of 10 years related work experience for international organizations.
10 years – experience with export and import worldwide companies.
Ability to prioritize and multitask; ability to adapt to a fast-moving environment.
Excellent team player with the ability to maintain strong internal and external
relationships.
Strong verbal and written communication skills (i.e., storytelling, messaging, brand
guidelines copy), with an expert ability to present and communicate new ideas and
concepts with internal project teams and leadership.
Proven experience with digital marketing forms such as social media marketing and
content marketing.
Proven experience in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
High emotional intelligence with a strong ability to influence concept development
while leading teams consistent with our family values.
Entrepreneurial team player who can multitask and represent IEA’s core values.
English speaker with preferred knowledge of a second language.
Ability to travel as required in US and offshore for business.

Must be willing to provide complete background report (confidential) and sign
detailed non-comp agreement
