The Media Services VP is responsible for facilitating social media and marketing efforts to increase brand recognition and communications throughout all IEA’s locations worldwide.
Provides leadership in managing and developing Media internal strategy while also playing an active “hands-on” role in the deployment of social media
endeavors strategies globally The VP should also demonstrate superior internal and external relationship and presentation skills as well as the ability to motivate, manage and train a cross-functional team of Executive Directors globally.
Main responsibilities
In addition to Executive Director responsibilities for your licensed state or country, the position will be responsible for the following:
The Media VP will be responsible of all media services creative contents in all
IEA’s locations and ensure that all media items comply with established
guidelines and company objectives.
Develop local, regional and international media services strategies,
procedures, systems, guidelines and focus on verifying that all activities are integrated into the global marketing communications process.
Lead the process of gathering, editing, producing and distributing, through
appropriate channels, content such as –but not limited to- entrepreneur stories,
institutional information, imagery and other editorial pieces that support IEA’s
global Communications Strategy. This includes production and distribution of
content to feed the different communications materials and outlets in all locations.
Analyze data to determine impacts and drive strategy through – but not limited to the creation of performance metrics and monitoring.
Negotiate media and marketing contracts, contractors and associated fees.
Increase and monitor the quantity and quality of media coverage in national and international locations.
Explore and develop new ways to strengthen IEA’s brand identity and
engagement with key stakeholder audiences.
Accomplishes all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested by the EVP & CEO.
Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior internal customer service in accordance with organizational core values.
Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and organization matters.

Minimum Requirements
Education and experience
Master’s degree in Communications, journalism, public relations, advertising and/or related field with a minimum of 15 years’ experience in multicultural and
international organizations acting as strategic business partner.
Excellent command of budgeting management.
Professional text and content editing level in English and other languages, is a plus.
Ability to write and edit compelling stories for different audiences.
Proven ability and experience in working with media outlets.
Proactive, with ability to grasp abstract problems, develop strategies, and propose concrete plans.
Ability to summarize complex topics into more simple ones.
Experienced in managing vendors and outsourcing providers.
Experience on managing public events.
Knowledge on internal communications.
Experience in PR agencies, is a plus.
Proven experience in press releases.
Knowledge of desk-publishing processes.
Associated to a journalism professional college.
Entrepreneurial team player who can multitask and represent IEA’s core values.
English speaker with preferred knowledge of a second language.
Ability to travel as required in US and offshore for business.
Office based, PC, cell phone, general office equipment
