The EVP- Global Operations is a licensed revenue sharing position responsible for the executive leadership and operational management of the IEA Executive Directors globally to ensure operational excellence and exceptional results. Additionally, the EVP will lead the execution of strategic planning to integrate IEA’s operations into organic growth while leading best practices across the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven strategic business leader to contribute to the integral success and evolution of IEA.

Main responsibilities

 Achieve the organization’s overall strategic goals and profitability requirements as determined by the strategic plans already in place.

 Provide executive leadership and direction to the global executive team to achieve necessary measured success through strategic approaches.

 Develop, establish and enhance partnerships with key stake holders government, intergovernmental institutions, NGO’s, communities, professional associations in different international locations to promote IEA operations.

 Create a high-performing culture of accountability with structured coaching to the management team and Executive Directors in each country.

 Build and foster relationships within a matrix organizational structure to proactively resolve issues, drive efficiencies, and champion them through the IEA members and  entrepreneurs with a centric strategy.

 Proactively initiate and drive necessary changes in processes, tools and capabilities as required for vertical growth in a disruptive business model.

˴   Identify organic training opportunities, workflow enhancements, and new

measurement tools as well as IEA graduate employability and personal opportunities.

 Assist the CEO in negotiating win-win scenarios with existing and new partners

while representing the organization’s core values.

 Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality and entrepreneurship ‘s principles.

 Coordinate with the Executive Team and Executive Directors the identification of local, national and international charitable organizations following IEA guidelines.

 Other duties may be assigned.

 

 

 

Minimum Requirements, Education and experience

 MBA or comparable degree with a minimum of 15 years’ experience in  business development acumen and/or operations roles with at least ten years in a complex strategic leadership and management role. Global management experience through an international  organization and/or multi-national business strongly preferred. OR equivalent independnat experience. ( all considered)

 Ability to understand and provide legal guidelines for business development.

 Excellent command of budgeting and forecasting methodologies.

 Proven track record of driving operational performance outcomes, including

operational targets/metrics and business development goals.

 A verifiable hands-on and highly successful track record in performance excellence in meeting targets and objectives.

 Proven international experience in strategic planning and execution, trade,

commerce negotiations; import/export business and change management.

 International intuitive experience in working with diverse cultures and nationalities,superb people skills.

 Leadership style and characteristics necessary to effectively perform in this role include: superior communication skills- at all level, innovative, collaborator; ability to work with multicultural teams and agencies; and passionate about

entrepreneurship world.

 Well-versed in performance management and providing coaching.

 Ability to recognize and respond to environmental issues (political, legislative,

technological, trade,economics and competitive) that influence the organization’ success.

 Positive and constructive governmental strategic connections.

 Association or membership proven experience.

 Impeccable written, verbal, and large group presentation skills

 English speaker with preferred knowledge of a second language.

 Ability to travel as required in US and offshore for business.

 Office based, PC, cell phone, general office equipment

 Must be willing to complete the Executive Director application provide complete background report (confidential) and sign detailed non-comp agreement.
